Batch started as a cookie bar that refused to be basic, then teamed up with Lunar Pies to turn one tiny Brisbane City counter into the city's most unreasonably good morning, lunch and afternoon stop. Which cookie should I start with?
If you want something genuinely different, go the Ube Velvet Crackle or the Pistachio Matcha. If you want a classic done properly, the OG Choc Chip. The team behind the counter will steer you right — they pick favourites for a living.
Are the empanadas baked or fried? Any vegetarian options?
Baked, always. Crunchy at the edges, soft and creamy through the middle. The Creamy Chicken Camembert & Mushroom is the most-ordered — even by people who say they don't like mushrooms. Spinach Tomato Cheese is the vegetarian pick and a regular sell-out.
Do you do custom cookie orders, branded boxes or corporate gifts?
Yes — birthdays, weddings, hampers, client thank-yous, launches and corporate orders. Custom flavours, logo-printed cookies and our signature gift boxes. Send through what you need and we'll come back with a quote.
Where do I find you, and where can I catch the markets?
We're in Brisbane City at the Uptown precinct seven days a week, and every Wednesday we run the Lunar Pies stall at the Brisbane City markets. Get there early on Wednesdays — the empanadas tend to be gone by lunch.
Can I order ahead or buy a gift voucher?
Yes to both. Order ahead for pick-up, and digital gift vouchers can be emailed same day in any denomination — easy last-minute gift for the cookie-obsessed in your life.
